One of the best halal meals I’ve had in London, and at such an affordable price too! I came here towards the end of last year with my mom and sister. We walked from King’s Cross Station, which took around 13 minutes.

We arrived after lunchtime, but there was still quite a long queue. We waited for around 20 minutes before getting in. The restaurant is located downstairs with no lift, so if you’re carrying a suitcase, you’ll need to put in a little extra effort (but trust me, the food is worth it!)

I ordered the Char Kway Teow, while my mom and sister had the Kari Laksa. The flavours were rich and absolutely delicious. As Indonesians, we really enjoyed the food 😋 It was so comforting and full of flavour. In fact, the Char Kway Teow was probably the best I’ve ever had!

Don’t forget to try the Iced Teh Tarik ((Best!)) The hot Teh Tarik was also really good.

100% would come back here the next time I’m in London! 🤍

Singapore‑Malaysian – worth the queue

Char kway teow – not too salty, proper wok hei, perfect spice level, moist, great bean sprout crunch. Really enjoyed !

Spiced fried chicken – crispy coating, bouncy tender meat, pairs beautifully with fish sauce‑chilli shrimp paste dip.

Nasi goreng – not too spicy, balanced, not heavy.

Stir‑fried water spinach – slightly over‑cooked, too salty (soy sauce heavy); needs rice.

Laksa – very spicy, broth could be deeper but still good; noodles could be thicker to hold the soup.

Hot thin roti with condensed milk (dessert) – great texture, harmonious flavours.

Cold Milk tea – fine, solid

Normally need to queue for at least 10 minutes during peak hours .
Worth your money !

Authentic and delicious Malaysian dishes. Everytime there is a queue here because the food is affordable and good. It was raining when we were in the queue and the staff provided umbrella to us which I thought was a great customer service. The staffs are very attentive too! Only downside is there is too many people in a small space and it is hard to have a proper conversation when the noise of people talking around you is overpowering.

Great food - even better than expected as we got recommended from instagram reels. Defo recommend the roti dishes as there is a guy making them fresh and they were so good. We got the beef and mutton ones. The satay soup was so rich and full of flavour, we can tell that it was specially made. Servers were amazing as well, super nice and friendly and quick with delivering food, 10/10 defo worth a visit.
